Golden Opportunity For Tractor Collectors!

This barn-fresh beauty ( 1930 Fordson ) was at the Pinckneyville show on Saturday, and I had to share it with all of the True Blue Fan Club, because one of you may be looking for a project like this one. There are not very many of these tractors coming out of barns nowadays, because most of those barns are gone. This tractor was hauled out right before the show, and even though it looks a bit rough around the edges, it appears to be restoreable.

The asking price is posted on the fender. ( Click for a good look. ) If a person gave up on the restoration, I think you could part it out and come out OK, but I hope the buyer does not give up on this old beast of burden.

A project of this caliber is guaranteed to help you bond with your teenage son, and to keep him off the streets at night while he helps you adjust rods, Bondo over the rust pits, and fit new piston rings. If you are interested, send an e-mail to: Oxford1010 (at) gmail (dot) com. It is located near Harrisburg, Illinois.
